About us

We are two guys who started Nattsyn for a very concrete reason: we were tired of not being able to see anything on our dog walks in November.

Sweden has around six hours of daylight in December. Morning and evening walks with the dog are dark for months, and a regular headlamp with a narrow beam illuminates a spot on the ground far away—not the dog next to you, and not the ice patch you just stepped on. So we found a headlamp with a wide beam, tested it ourselves, and decided to sell it to others who face the same problem every winter.

Nattsyn is a new venture. We are not a large company with a long history. We are two people who handle everything ourselves, from customer service to packing boxes, and we respond to emails personally. If something goes wrong, we fix it.

We also try to be upfront about what isn't perfect. We don't hold stock in Sweden, delivery time is 7 to 15 days, and the shipping company may charge you customs fees upon delivery. All of this is stated under Shipping and delivery instead of being hidden in fine print, because we'd rather sell fewer lamps to people who know what they are buying.

Who we are

Nattsyn is run by Oscar Smith and Alex Lindholm Ridell as private individuals. The business is not yet registered as a company and therefore has no organization number.
